Bus Fare Information

Beginning July 1, 2011, bus fares will be implemented for the Hele-On Bus system.

Beginning July 1, 2011, bus fares will be implemented in Hawaii County. Fares will be as follows:

Cash fare - $1.00 per ride
Monthly passes - $30.00 per month for unlimited rides on any and all routes
Bus tickets - $7.50 for a sheet of 10 tickets. One ticket will charged for each boarding

Below is a form for ordering bus passes and tickets.

Bus fares will not be charged for the following categories:

Students through college – must show a valid and current student identification card
Senior citizens – individuals 55 years and over must show a valid form of identification, such as driver’s license, senior citizen identification, or government identification card
Disabled individuals – must show identification card provided by the transit agency. Please have the Disabled Application Form completed per the instructions. The form below shall be used for obtaining a Disability Bus Pass.
