Honokaa Park - NO Smoking Ordinance
The Honokaa Park area has been designated as a no smoking area including the roadway fronting the park. In addition signs have been installed along the guard rail across of the park prohibiting tobacco use. Violators are subject to $100 fine for each offense. Buses that stop at Honokaa Park are for restroom breaks and not smoking breaks. Per Section 14-21(b) of the Hawai`i County Code, smoking or the use of any tobacco products or the use of electronic smoking devices shall be prohibited at all County parks and recreational facilities.
