Waimea-Hilo Combined Schedule
This is a combined schedule of trips operating on various Hele-On routes that travel between Prince Kuhio Plaza, Safeway/Target, Walmart/Ross/Office Max/Walgreens, University of Hawai'i-Hilo, University of Hawai'i-Hawai'i Community College, Aupuni Center, County of Hawai'i Building, Mo'oheau Bus Terminal, continuing on to Paukaa, Pepeeko, Honomu, Hakalau, Ninole, Papaaloa, Laupahoehoe, Paauilo, Honoka'a and Waimea to the Parker Ranch Shopping Center. This combined schedule helps understand the available service between central Hilo and Waimea, Monday through Saturday. Certain trips operate on Sundays and Holidays. See footnote in the schedule.

One direct northbound trip from Hilo to Waikoloa Village operates, departing Mo'oheau Bus Terminal at 12:00 p.m. arriving Waikoloa Village at 1:50 p.m., Monday through Friday only. In Honoka'a, this route will serve Blane's Drive In on Mamane Street, as well as stops on Mamane Street between Route 19 and Puakalo Street only.
One direct southbound trip operates from Kamuela View Estates near Waimea at 11:00 a.m. as the Intra-Waimea Shuttle until Lakeland and then the bus travels south to Prince Kuhio Plaza via the Hāmākua Coast arriving at 1:15 p.m. In Honoka'a, this route will serve the 76 gas station on Mamane Street, as well as stops on Mamane Street between Route 19 and Puakalo Street only.
All other buses either serve the Honoka'a upper gym parking lot or the Honoka'a Park and Gym lower parking lot, park and/or Blaine's Drive In/76 gas station on Mamane Street, as well as stops on Mamane Street between Route 19 and Puakalo Street. Pay close attention as explained on the schedules or route descriptions.
On weekdays, during school days, limited service operates betwen Kailua-Kona, Waikoloa Village and Waimea to serve Parker School, Hawai'i Preparatory Academy and West Hawaii Explorations Academy. See the Supplementary School Service webpage for more details.
Destination signs for this route when traveling towards Prince Kuhio Plaza may either say "WAIAKEA-UKA", "KAUMANA", "DOWNTOWN HILO" or "PRINCE KUHIO PLAZA".
Destination signs for this route when traveling towards Honoka'a may either say "HONOKAA", "SOUTH KOHALA", "SKR", "WAIKOLOA" or "KAILUA-KONA".
